About this episode

What’s the real purpose of HR—protecting the business, or putting people first? In this episode I ask: can HR rebuild trust, champion individuality, and partner with leaders to create organisations where people thrive? From the headlines debating “whose side HR is on” to practical examples of policies that put humanity at the centre, I explore what it takes to humanise HR.

My guest is Vivian Leinster, a seasoned C-suite executive who helps boards and executive teams align business strategy with culture to transform results.  A former Chief People Officer and People Director working in the UK and Australia, Vivian has over 30 years’ experience of leading global culture transformations across telecoms, technology, insurance, healthcare and other sectors. She is known for cutting through organisational complexity and surfacing the hidden assumptions that shape behaviour.
