S10 E12: 'How to make work fair'
with Siri Chilazi
Monday 23 June 2025

About this episode
In this episode I explore how to make work fair. What do we really mean when we talk about fairness at work? Why does unfairness exist, what does it look like and and how do you tackle it properly? And why should leaders care, when they’re dealing with so many other priorities and uncertainties?
I’m joined by Siri Chilazi, senior researcher at Harvard Kennedy School’s Women and Public Policy Program which is part of Harvard University. Siri recently coauthored, with Iris Bohnet, a book called Make Work Fair: Data-Driven Design for Real Results which came out in February 2025, and she is an internationally recognized expert in advancing women and promoting gender equity in organisations. Siri’s work regularly appears in leading media outlets and she has spoken on gender equity at hundreds of large events around the world. She has an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, and a BA in Chemistry and Physics from Harvard College.
